Filed under: 5th Grade, Fiction, Science — superguytv @ 11:27

The tallest Mountain in the United States is Mount McKinley, which is located in the state of Alaska. It has been told through many generations the legend of how Mount McKinley was formed those many years ago. It has been said that special majestic birds formed Mount McKinley. These birds were special because these three birds had powers that were said to have formed the entire mountain. These birds had these powers, the first bird had the power of earth, the second special bird had the power of ice, and the third bird had the power of wind, all these powers played a large role in forming the mountain. One magical day all of the birds came together and thought of a plan to become legends, they then thought of the amazing plan that is now Mount McKinley. After that they made the most daring decision of their lives: to combine all three of their powers. As soon as they all took deep breaths they let all of their powers hit the green grass, and made history. The earth from one of the birds made the entire structure of Mount McKinley, another one of the birds played another huge role in forming the mountain, the bird with the power of ice had all its powers hit the structure and make the entire outer layer ice like most landforms in Alaska. And finally the third and final courageous bird with another amazing power of wind used its power to make the top part of the layer very windy like on all mountains in the world. With all of these powers combined they formed Mount McKinley. After that historical moment they had used all of their powers, and all three were wiped out. After that people started to become more familiar with the memorial that was lying at the base of the mountain. Some still don’t know the story, but now you do.
